So here is my 4Th video of the week! (GASSSSSSP!!) Its Crazy that I've been able to come up with something different to show you every day!! I'm debating on if i should post on Saturday....that is part of the week isn't it?!? lol So I LOVE the way this came out, i think it looks awesome and for such a sweet deal. $2.54 for a HUGE set of stamps ($7.00 w/shipping) makes me HAPPY :D --i'm sure it makes the hubby's wallet happy too *hehehe*--EBay is very addicting and thanks to Tracey from CraftJunkieToo, I've been checking out the cricut cartridges *dangerous!*. I've already ordered 1 and have 4 more I've been looking at.
I've also been thinking about what I'm going to be doing next week...to challenge myself. I'm thinking that I am going to do Cricut Cuts next week. I might not do a video everyday (unless you all would like them) but all of my projects will include some type of Cricut Cut!
Also....I've got an idea swishing around in my brain about a way to challenge me and a couple of my crafting buddies using the Cricut! I don't have anything concrete yet BUT as soon as I do, you guys will know!!
I had such a fantastic time chatting with everyone last night on Momo's UStream Live Class!! And i wanted to say thank you to some of my "fans" (lol i feel weird saying that but cant think of a better word...maybe followers? LOL) who were saying such nice things about my recent video's!!! I make them for you and I really hope that you all are enjoying them!! So, I'm doing good so far on this 1 video a day challenge for myself for the week! I cant believe I've done it but its really challenging me and i love a challenge :)
So for today's video....I'm showing some stuff that I've been working on this past weekend AND some more coloring with Bic & Sharpie Markers!! I apologize for the music at the beginning in the background...i don't know how that got on there but its OK!! AND in case ur wondering...i love my pj's! LOL don't hate ;)
ALSO....People were asking me in the chat last night if I am a Demonstrator for Stampin' Up!....Yes I am!! So if your interested in ordering any products or you need more information, please feel free to email me at techniquesbytrish@gmail.com ! I'd be happy to have anyone as a customer or to help in anyway I can :)
AND HERE IS THE BLOG ROLL CALL from last nights live class!!
The last person I'm going to post did not send me her blog but she has become a very close friend of mine in a short amount of time. Her hubby is deployed right now and I'm sure she would be thrilled to have some followers on her VERY NEW blog!! She just recently started crafting but has been "stalking" many of your blogs. HeHeHeHeHeHe I think if she had followers, she'd get that little push to create more and it would really mean a LOT to me if you all would take time to visit her blog and become a follower. Molly...here is another shout out for you dear :D Molly @ Army Wife Learn the Cricut
Alright everyone....off to create another video for you all!! Have a fantastic day and be sure to check out all of the fabulous blogs above.
I have been experimenting in my "paper museum" (that's what my hubby calls it) and came up with Chalk Board Label using vinyl!!! I'm so stinkin excited about it because I wasn't sure if it would work or not and it DOES!!! The possibilities of what to do with this is ENDLESS!!! AHH, I'm so sorry, i get very excited when things work out. I must warn you though, in this video there is a LOT of trial and error LOL AND i was rambling so I apologize for that!! :)
Now onto creating my video for my post tomorrow.....First I have to figure out what to create ;) Hope you all are having a great week! I'm ready for crafting every day!!
OH and don't forget....Made by MOMO is LIVE ON USTREAM TONIGHT!! 10PM EASTERN TIME!! Momo will be show us some goodies that she sells for her craft shows but these would also make great teacher gifts or Christmas stocking stuffers! You don't wanna miss it.....click on the link to join in on the fun! Click Here
Here is a video showing you my updated craft room!! I hope you enjoy it and if you have any questions please let me know and feel free to leave comments :)
Also.....my objective this week is to post a video each day!!!! Its going to be tough but I hope I can do it, I'm really trying to get my creative juices flowing!!
PS.....lastly, I'm going to put the cake decorating mini series on hold for now. I hate saying that it will be up soon and it never gets posted. I have the first few video's done but when it comes to showing you how to actually decorate, I'm stumped!!! So until i figure it out and have more video's done on it, its going on the back burning for a bit. I'm sorry to those of you who were really looking forward to it (Steph and Cristi)....I'm not totally dismissing the idea, i just need a bit more time to figure it all out!
I know I promised this video this morning.....well I had an interesting day! My hubby left at 8.30am for work and I managed some how to sleep in till 10.30am!!! I have not done that since we've had Gem, the end of May! Anyways, thank goodness I did wake up then because my hubby got home 15 minutes later!!! HAHAHAH Shortly after that, i made lunch and than did some stuff outside, then dinner, and than editing! haha So I do apologize, sometimes life gets in the way LOL. So here is my video on my version of a Post-it Note Holder (it was my very first video of me making something). Jess, thank you again for the request and I'm sorry it took so long. I really hope this helps you and if you need any more help or instructions, please feel free to email me!
Hey Everyone, This video is just to show you in more detail how I created my storage for my clear stamps. My wonderful viewer Wanda asked if I could go into more detail and so here it is! If anyone needs more information or details on this(yes including you Wanda :D), please feel free to send me an email at techniquesbytrish@gmail.com I really hope that this helps y'all (as i said in the video) and I'll be sure to have another view up soon....so check back!
Jess, I'll be shooting the video for my post-it note holders with more details today, so if its not up tonight, it will be up by tomorrow morning!! I'm sorry for the delay on it!
PS......my military wife buddy MOLLY has been harassing me (LOL) to put up my revised craft room video. So as soon as that is edited it will be up.....I just like to space out my videos. I'd rather have 1 a day than have like 3 in one day and y'all have nothing else for the rest of the week. So it will be up soon, i promise!!
So its a new day, good gracious the first day in September!! This year seems to have just FLOWN by! Any how, I was up bright and early putting out the trash and recycles for collection and I feel quite cheery this morning! LOL
Unfortunately, I don't have a video ready for you guys early this morning BUT I'm hoping to have one posted by tonight or tomorrow morning. So since I don't have a video ready for you just yet......I thought I'd show some pictures of recent projects that don't have video's to go with them! I hope you all enjoy them :) Any questions about them let me know!!
This card was for my Brother In Law's birthday this past weekend. The close up shows that I dry embossed and than sanded the sheet so the "happy birthday" messages would stick out a bit more.
My SNOW GLOBE CARD!!! 2 weekends ago, while my husband was playing his game and I had no idea what to do, he suggested I make a Xmas card with my new cartridge "joys of the season". My husband is brilliant i tell you! LOL so I made this!!! This is a shaker card, the little circle cutouts shake around....I was impressed with myself on this card. There are some things I'd do differently for next time but overall...I really liked how it turned out :)
AHHH my little witch!!! As some of you know, I just recently became a Stampin' Up! hobby demonstrator! I primarily became one to get my discount and sell to my sister in law who is also a stamping junkie, like me! LOL So everything you see on this card, with the exception of the sentiment & border punch, is from Stampin' Up! She is just so stinkin cute!!!! I colored her in with my sharpie and bics and used an aqua painter and ink to color in her face. I LOVE how this turned out and I love the designer(patterned) paper!! The sentiment is from the fabulous set from Scrappy Mom's "A Haunting we will go" and the border punch is from no other than Martha Stewart! What do y'all think???
So the other day, i got this random urge to sew......yes I said it Sew! And not sew on my card but make something. Now some of you might be scratching your heads, hahaha, but my momma did teach me how to sew before I got married. She has 5 brothers and 2 sisters and she, her sisters, and my grandmother would MAKE their own clothes when they were growing up. So she knows a thing or two. :) Any how, I bought this pattern months before my wedding when I feel in love with this top and I also bought the fabric but never got around to it. So I put my big girl panties on the other day and braved it out without my mother by my side to help me and I made this top!! Now the sleeves are a little 70's but I still think I did pretty stinkin' good for my first time ever making a piece of clothing!! THANKS MOM!! You taught me well!!!!
Have a fantastic rest of the day, and check back for the next video on showing you how exactly I created my stamp storage system!!
