Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge - April Showers brings May Flowers*

Hello Everyone and Happy Tuesday!  I'm still currently at Disney with my family but will be back home soon! :)

Its the 1st Tuesday of the month and that means it Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge.  If you haven't joined us before, please join in on the fun of the challenge!  We'd love to have you play along with us :)  TTC, as we call it for short, happens on the first and third Tuesday of each month.  Be sure to check out the Scrappy Moms Blog to see the design teams great projects and to enter in on the challenge to win a Scrappy Moms Stamp Set of your choice.

This weeks challenge is titled "April Showers bring May Flowers" and its a flower themed challenge!  We'd love to see what you create using flowers on your project!

For this challenge, I used a brand new Stamp set (to me) from Avery Elle and its so fitting for this theme.  Since mother's day is rapidly approaching, I thought I'd create a card to send to my Mom :)

I stamped all of the flowers and leaved individually and then fussy cut them all out.  I wanted them to surround the oval on the front of the card.  Looking at it now, I wish I would have used a scalloped oval to really frame the cut out but there is always next time.

My mom absolutely adores flowers and has a beautiful garden....I'm sure this will put a big smile on her face for Mother's Day!

And as a special treat, I have a video showing how I created this card below.

Be sure to check out the other design teams amazing projects by clicking on their name in the side bar or seeing them at the Scrappy Moms Blog

See you back here soon!

Butterfly Reflections, Ink -- "You did it"

Hello Everyone!  Today I'm back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink Blog page.  You can head over to the blog by clicking HERE.

For today's project, I've created a very bright and fun " You did it!" Card.   These are always great for a variety of different reasons; Graduation, Promotion, Winning a Sports Game, or perhaps getting a good grade on a special school project!  Can never have too many of these cards in your stash :)

The first thing I did was find the center of my patterned paper.  ( I'm using the Simple Stories DIY Boutique 6x6" paper pack.  Its currently out of stock in the Store, however, the store is always being restocked with items and new items are added regularly so any pattern paper will do!)

I then stamped my greeting in Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with some black glitter embossing powder.

Next, I die cut several stars from the pattern paper and used it to make the 'o' in YOU.  I used a some extra stars to accent the sentiment and covered them in Glossy Accents.

Added some faux stitching and attached the pattern paper to my card base and the completed this simple card!

Hope you guys have enjoyed this card.  You can view the supplies used on this card below and clicking on them will take you directly to them in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink Store.  As I mentioned,  the Simple Stories DIY Boutique paper pad is currently out of stock so you will not see it linked up below.

I'll see you guys back here tomorrow with a special treat of a video with my project!

See you then!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge - May Week #1

Hello Everyone and Happy Sunday!!  I'm currently in Disney right now, hopefully enjoying some fabulous weather on our mini vacation :)

I'm here with another project for Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge,  I can't believe that this will be my last month on the team!  It has been an AWESOME 6 months with the Challenge Blog and I've felt so very grateful to be on the team!

My inspiration for this card came from Savannah over at Savannah Land 2.  She has been on a feather jewelry making kick lately and I have been LOVING all of her projects!  If you haven't seen them, you can check out one of my FAVORITE feather projects created by heading over at the Virtual Smooches Blog!

With all of the feather projects she has been making, I decided it was finally time to use my feather dies.  I wanted to make a CAS card (clean and simple) and I have to say that this is one of my absolute favorite cards that I've made while on the team.

Ok.....enough talking already :)  Onto my project below!

And as a special treat....I have a video showing you just how I created this card!  I know shocking...another video!

Hope you guys enjoyed this card!  Be sure to check back for more projects coming soon!

Gearing up for a busy weekend & small life update!

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday!

I just wanted to stop by here quickly and apologize for my lack of projects this week.  We are headed to Disney this weekend for a short getaway before we pack up and move.  My husband has gotten new orders and we will be heading back to New Jersey come the end of May.  Its another big move but we are beyond excited to be getting back to Jersey where we will be close to our family and friends!  So we decided that before we go, we would like to take Kirie back to Disney one last time.  Its a short 4 day getaway but its just what we need :)

With us being gone for 4 days, I'm trying to get all of my projects done and in order before leaving.

Starting on Saturday, I'll have 1 project per day up till Tuesday including a National Scrapbook Day blog hop, Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge, a post for Butterfly Reflections Ink, and Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge!

...AND most of those posts will have a video for you!! So I've been busy editing videos, pictures and getting posts scheduled...hence my lack of time for creating this week.  Lets not even discuss that I have not started packing! ;)

So I'll see you guys back here on Saturday for some crafty inspiration!
